Why merch exists

Mostly so we can find each other. A fin on a hoodie or a mug on a desk tells another member they’re not the only one, on a dock, in a cafe, on a ferry or in the grocery line, a long way from the nearest tide. It’s also a little mischievous, because orcas play.
